Entry Requirements
Attendance on this programme is open to learners who are in possession of a valid Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) or equivalent certification.

Training and assessment activities contained within this course may include physically demanding and potentially stressful elements. All personnel who participate in such activities must be capable of participating fully.
Who Should Attend
Persons who are nominated in the role of offshore lifeboat coxswain and have the responsibility of piloting TEMPSC (survival craft) during routine and emergency situations.
Course Content
This Product aims to equip learners with the knowledge and skills required to perform the role of an Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain effectively.
The objectives are:

Learners to fully understand the roles and responsibilities of the Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain

Learners to understand the working mechanisms of the TEMPSC, and how to safely launch and maneuver the TEMPSC to a safe area.
